Gd doesn't teach you Torah
Hi,
[The daily berachot recited before studying Torah – ברכות התורה
– include a paragraph
which ends by blessing Gd, "who teaches Torah to His nation, Israel."
Here, Rambam opposes that text.]
"One who concludes the blessing, 'who teaches Torah',
is mistaken. Gd does not teach it to us; rather, He instructed us to learn it and
teach it. This is built on a fundamental principle of our faith, that
performing mitzvot is in our hands, and Gd does not compel us to perform them
or abandon them."
מי שחותם בהמלמד תורה, הוא טועה, לפי
שהאלוקים אינו מלמדנו אותה, אלא צוונו ללומדה וללמדה, וזה בנוי על עיקר דתנו, והוא
שעשיית המצוות (היא) בידינו, לא בהכרח מן האלהים לעשותן או להניחן.

Bless the Torah, bless yourself
Hi,
“HaShem declared: If you bless the Torah, you bless yourself. How do we know this? It is written (Mishlei 9), “’For in me [the Torah] your days will be increased, and years of life will be added to you.’”

Immersion in Torah study
Hi,
There is a daily morning blessing which serves to thank Gd for giving us Torah, and one part describes the mitzvah of Torah study as "Laasok b'Divrei Torah," "to be involved with words of Torah." The word "Laasok," "to be involved," is also the word for business investment.
The Chafetz Chaim commented, as recorded in his notes to the prayerbook: "One who has a business and wishes to become wealthy certainly will not be satisfied with spending an hour or two in his store, closing early and going to rest or play. Rather, he will be involved with the store with every effort, both during the day and until the late hours of the night. He will not rest and he will not be silent, and he will put all of his resources into this investment."
