Men and Women

[Shemot 19:3 - HaShem tells Moshe, "So you shall say to the house of Jacob, and you shall instruct the sons of Israel."]

"'The house of Jacob' - This refers to the women; HaShem told Moshe, tell the women the main points, which they can hear. Then, 'You shall instruct the sons of Israel,' the men; tell them the fine points, which they can hear.

"Alternatively: Why to the women first? Because they are more energetic in mitzvot.

"Alternatively: Why to the women first? So that they would guide their children in Torah."
