The punishment for theft

"For the sin of theft, govai ascends and famine exists, and people eat the flesh of their sons and daughters, as it is written, ‘Hear this, cows of Bashan on Mount Shomron, who cheat the poor and crush the indigent… the plenty of your gardens, vineyards and figs will be consumed by the gazam.’ And it is written, ‘The remnant of the gazam will be consumed by the arbeh, and the remnant of the arbeh will be consumed by the yelek…’"
