"I will build her in fire" What do you think this means lema'aseh. By war? by natural disaster? I think that the metaphor of fire is used because of the four basic elements of the universe as Chazal saw it;air earth water and fire, only the creation and use of fire is really a human invention which can be used creatively or destructively. Here Hashem "takes back" the creation and use of fire both to destroy and finally to rebuild bimheira beyameinu.
